Hobson Elden Agee, who preferred to be called Elden born to Hobson Lafayette Agee and Marga Reeta Green Agee, He served as a Navy boson on the USS Talbot 114 Destroyer in the Pacific during WWII. Following his military service, he dedicated a significant portion of his life to farming and later established his own business, Agee Construction, where he worked from 1973 until retiring in 1997. Elden, who enjoyed carpentry, gardening, and fishing in Colorado, married Mildred Elizabeth Henley on July 20, 1944, in Covington, OK. She preceded him in death on Feb. 20, 1995. They were long-time residents of Perryton, TX, and Liberal, KS.


Elden is survived by his children:

Wayne Agee and wife Becca of Edmond, OK

Frank Agee and wife Mendy of Edmond, OK.

Bob Agee, OK

Jack Agee, KS

Jean Agee Flores, OK


His son Wayne reflects, "He was a man who could do pretty much anything."

His grandson David (Wayne's son) adds, "He loved to tell stories."
