Thomas Beaden Wright, 86, passed away on November 21, 2023, in Stamford, TX. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 25, in the Kinney-Underwood Funeral Chapel, 210 S. Ferguson Street, Stamford, TX, with Pastor Paul Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Stamford; services are under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home in Stamford.

Thomas was born on September 25, 1937, in Bradley, OK, the son of Henry Elder and Nancy Ora (Eslick) Wright. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1959, serving almost 4 years; two of those years he served overseas. While in the Navy he earned the Good Conduct Medal. He was a Baptist, Master Mason, and 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Freemasonry. He married Virginia Sue Case in Ardmore, OK, in 1961. T.B. enjoyed getting together with family and traveling with Sue.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nancy Wright; his wife of 33 years, Sue Wright; sister, Faye Belben; and two brothers, Cecil W. Wright and Jimmy Don Wright.

Thomas is survived by four brothers, Jerry and Cindy Wright of Amarillo, TX, Leon and Shirley Wright of Bray, OK, Richard and Janette Wright of County Line, OK, and Wayne and Ollie Wright, of Velma, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
