On July 27, 1947 Kathlene was united in marriage with Harold Glass, Jr. at Illyria Community Church in Elgin, Iowa, where she was active in their plays and choir. Together they farmed near Dundee and the Delhi area. Throughout the years they lived in Dundee, Delhi, Waukon, Sac City, and Masonville areas.
After the passing of Harold in 1995, Kathlene was united in marriage with Ray Eble on October 25, 2003 in Louisburg, Kansas. Kathlene was active in her Elgin Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and traveling. She was able to make several trips to California, cruises to Alaska and Hawaii, and a trip to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. She also traveled to Europe, going to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In 2018 Kathlene went on a seventeen-day cruise thru the Panama Canal. Kathlene spent several winters in Texas with each of her husbands.
Kathlene was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lola Yearous; husband, Harold Glass in 1995, and husband, Ray Eble in 2008; two sisters, Darlene and Geraldine Shaffer.
Surviving Kathlene are her two sons, Vincent James Glass of Clermont, Iowa and Gregory Harold (Cheryl) Glass of Paso Robles, California; one daughter, Kila Kay (Arlen) Nuehring of Monona, Iowa; grandchildren, Kriste Howerton, Mitchell Glass, Brian Glass, Jeffery Glass, Lisa Nagy, Shantra Nuehring, Kayleen Schulte, and Kilyn Nuehring; two bonus children, Diane (Lynn) Schoening, and Douglas (Glenda) Eble and two grand Daughters, Allison Heller and Amanda Benson; great- grandchildren, Kayla, Hal Carter, and Makenna Howerton, Brayden and Dylan Glass, Warren, and Brianna Glass, Kailie Nagy, Kaylee, Kyler and Kaleb Nuehring, Carter, Kinley, Kamery, Kenedy and Caysen Schulte and Harlyn and Arlo Mitchell.
