Mr. Allen was the Owner of Allen Plumbing and HVAC. He enjoyed spending time with family. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. He was predeceased by his parents, James Washington Allen & Mildred Hall Allen and two brothers: James Lee Allen and Donald Ray Allen.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jacquilyn Faye Crocker Allen.
Children: Richard Wayne Allen, Jr. and wife Jennifer Florence Allen;
Kenneth Wayne Allen and wife Jennifer Allen.
Grandchildren: Katie Ann LeHockey, Nicholas Wayne Allen, Cody Wayne Allen, Ericka Jacquilyn Allen, Trey Allen, Sophie Allen, Hallie Allen, Kenzie Allen, Erin Stewart, Cara Peña-Stewart and Courtney Stewart.
Arrangements handled by McLaurin Funeral Home & Pinecrest Memorial Park of Clayton, NC.
