JAMES W. PARKER
James W. Parker of 1410 NE 103rd Ave. died Wednesday. His funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Rose City Cemetery Chapel, 5625 NE Fremont St. Born June 24, 1876 at Wheatfield, Ind., Mr. Parker was a retired restaurant owner who had lived at Portland 30 years. He was an early merchant at Hood River and Elgin and then farmed in the Willamette Valley. He is survived by the widow, Calista E.; two daughters, Mary Ann Cole and Mildred M. Parker; one son, Arthur E., all of Portland; one brother, Frank E. of Sacramento; one grandchild; three great-grand-children.
