Frances Blackwell Jackson, 89, wife of the late Edward Herbert Jackson, of Belton, S.C., passed way on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at The Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Hendersonville, N.C., on July 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Dewey Blackwell, and the late Gussie Jane Epley Blackwell.
She was a longtime member of West Anderson Church of God and retired from Anderson Memorial Hospital as a nurse's assistant. She was a beautiful and loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Alice J. Major (Sam), Winatha J. Gilreath (Steve), Melissa J. Day, and Patricia Peek (Bryan), 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughters, Alison Hale and Myra Olsen, as well as 5 brothers and a sister.
Entombment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
