1779 – 1843
Somehow there was a generation skipped on the site. Most likely because they failed to notice that there is a SR and JR.
Reuben Ard, Jr and his wife Sarah Agnes Dickerson were the parents of 12 children. The youngest of these was George Washington Lafayette Ard who was born in Early County, Georgia and died in Lumpkin, Stewart County, Georgia.
Not to be confused with his UNCLE, who was also George Washington Ard.
*NOTE: Reuben Ard SR also had a son name George Washington Ard who married Abigail Barrow, daughter of Reuben Barrow and Patience Ann Tice, born 1797 in Twiggs County. He lived and died in Florida.
[CHILDREN: Betsy, Patsy, Reuben, John Wesley, John R, Rebekah,
Wesley Jackson, James, David, William Henry, Thomas, and G.W.]
