Mrs. Sandra Ruth Currie, age 31, of Rt. 7, Charlotte, died Tuesday, March 18 at her home. Funeral services 11 a.m. Thursday March 20 from the McEwen Derita Chapel. Rev. Jerry G. Hurt of the Dilworth Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. She was born February 5, 1944 in Charlotte, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James E. Kiser, Sr. of Charlotte. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Ronald Currie; one daughter Renee Jean Currie of the home; her parents; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Hazelwood of Charlotte; two brothers, James E Kiser, Jr. and Larry C. Kiser of Charlotte. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. March 19 at the McEwen Derita Chapel.
