Mary Belle was the wife of Thomas "Tommy" Davidson. She was previously married to George Barnett Reed in Evansville Indiana. George died of an accident with a saw. Thomas and Mary met and married on 20 November 1883. Thomas was a coal miner and they made their way to Oklahoma in the mid 1880s where he continued as a coal miner in Lehigh Oklahoma. Family stories have indicated that Mary died around 1900 and is buried in the Lehigh Cemetery. Since there are multiple small cemeteries in the area it is possible that she is buried in one of them. Visiting the Lehigh Cemetery it was found that the majority of headstones are made of sandstone and are unreadable. This is placed here so her entire family memorials can be linked together.

Technically, at the time of her death, around 1900, she lived in Lehigh, Atoka County, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. Oklahoma didn't become a state until 1907.
