Mrs. Connie Elizabeth Barnes Atkinson, 81, of Perryville died Wednesday, June 23. She was born in Conway County April 26, 1890. She was a member of the Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Arthur S. Atkinson. Survivors include a son, Odis McGehee, Perryville; one daughter, Mrs. Eva Spallone, Orange, Cal.; one half-brother, Huie Frazier, Fayetteville, Ark.; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 P.M. June 25 at the Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Robert Payne and Rev. R. E. Grooms. Interment was at Cherry Hill Cemetery by Pance Funeral Home of Conway.
