Eliza was first married to Lucien B. Legg October 10, 1858 in Lawrence Massachusets and one child, Anna ,born about 1860. Lucient and Eliza were divorced and he died in 1884 in Dover from consumption.
Eliza married Abram Cillley of Northwood May 4, 1872 in Strafford New Hampshire. She was age 28 and he was 41 and she was his second wife. He was a farmer and she was a weaver at the time of the marriage. Abram was the son of Abram B. Cilley of Northwood.
In 1880 Eliza was enumerated under the name Ellen E. and was 39 yrs of age living in Durham New Hampshire. Her husband Abraham was 57 yrs of age and working as a laborer.
Eliza and Abraam were living with her daughter Anna (Legg) Wiggins in Dover in 1900. Anna was the wife of James Wiggins son of George and Sophia Wiggins. Eliza was living with Anna after her husband's death through to the time of her death in 1934.
Eliza died from bronchitis and had resided on Spruce Lane in Dover prior to her death. She was age 92 and 7 mos of age.
Burial was in Pine Hill Marrch 2, 1934, Glidden & Wiggin, funeral home in charge of arrangements. Remains placed in tomb for later burial. Eliza was buried in a different section from her husband according to the cemetery records. This could be a record error if you search for her stone. Abraham is in Section 3, lot 1240 Avenue J.
Daughter Anna died in 1950 and ws also buried here.
