Thomas Judson Dalton was born February 6, 1942 and went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2023. He was saved at an early age at Washburn Baptist Church and belonged to the church his entire life.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Dalton. Parents Tilmon and Pearl Dalton. Grandson Johnny Paul Young. Sisters Zelma Frye and Jane Sulfridge. Brothers Horace Dalton and Bentley Dalton.
Thomas is survived by his son Jeff (Misty) Dalton of Tazewell. Daughters Jane (Larry) Young of Washburn, Sue Young of Washburn, Gail (Charles) Nicley of Kentucky, and Debbie McGinnis of Tazewell. Grandchildren Corey (Ashley) Dalton, Jordan Dalton, Lori (Matt) Piper, Carrie (Sam) Helton, Adam (Beth) Nicley, Amber (Adam) Ramsey. Sisters Jean England and Okie Beeler. Brother Benard Dalton. As well as several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday December 3, 2023 from 2 until 4 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 4 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held Monday December 4, 2023 at 11 AM in the Hack Hurst Evans Cemetery.
