Thomas "Tom" Wylie, originally of Haller Lake, passed away Thursday, May 23rd, in his home in Bellevue, after a tough battle with cancer. He was surrounded in love and laughter by his family.
Tom was born on January 13, 1944 and was raised in Haller Lake with his two brothers Jerry and Dick. Tom enjoyed fishing and swimming in Haller Lake in his youth. He met his wife, Linda, one summer at the lake at age 17 through neighborhood friends. Tom and Linda married in 1967 in Seattle and raised three kids together. They spent many summers as a family enjoying and having parties at Haller Lake, where Tom's mom, Betty lived until she passed in 2011. Tom, Linda, their children and grandchildren have endless amounts of memories spent at Haller Lake. It truly is special place for the entire Wylie Family.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Linda Wylie, his three children, Tanja (Troy) Jones, Charlie (Beth) Wylie and Suzi (John) Zook. Tom was an amazing grandpa to 9 grandchildren Jacob, Tyler, Zoe, Colby, Tristan, Bodhi, Penelope, Willow and Adeline. He is also survived by his brother Jerome "Jerry" (Missy) Wylie and nieces Clea and Ellie, and his cousin Marilyn (David) Lambrecht, cousins Terry and Tod and many more.

Tom is preceded in death by his father Earl Wylie, his mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Wylie and his brother Richard "Dick" Wylie.

Tom was a generous, caring, kind man with a unique sense of humor. He leaves behind memories of travel, adventure and a strong work ethic. He will be missed beyond measure by his family and all those whose lives he touched. We hope you found that free parking three miles from the pearly gates of heaven.
