News comes to us of the death on the 25th of Mr. F.T. Marion, of near Houlka. Mr. Marion was 68 years old, a confederate veteran, and one of the best liked men in the community. He was a loyal friend, kind and indulgent father and an exemplary citizen. He leaves a large family of children and grandchildren with a host of other relatives to mourn his loss. His remains were interred in Friendship cemetery.
