Sarah married 2) Thomas Duncan "Tom" Hudspeth (1/1830-1902) of Mississippi on Sept. 29, 1869, in Hinds County, MS. Sometime between 1880 and 1900, the family moved to McComb, where they remained.
Six children, of whom these 3 are known:
• Steward Duncan Hudspeth (4/1870-after 1900 in McComb, MS)
• Ira Paul Hudspeth (1874-1926)
• Margaret Lee"Maggie" Hudspeth Abbott (1882-1952)
Sarah had 11 children with 7 surviving, per 1900 census, only three of whom survived her. Sarah outlived her first husband by 66 years.
The obituary states her age as 93, but she was actually 92 and would have been 93 later that year.
