A.C. Harp, 81, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023. Born on June 10, 1942, in Oglethorpe, Georgia, A.C. was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family and many sorrowing friends.

A.C. had a distinguished military career, serving in the United States Army for twenty-five years before retiring. He was proud of his military associations and the sacrifices he made for his country. After his military service, A.C. worked for the City of Jacksonville Street and Highways Department for thirty-two years. He dedicated his time and efforts to ensuring the city's streets were safe and well-maintained. A.C. retired at the age of fifty-five, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.

In his spare time, A.C. enjoyed fishing and watching basketball and football. He also coached an adult softball team, bringing his passion for sports to others. A.C. loved taking road trips with his wife to Biloxi, Mississippi, the Las Vegas Strip, and the HardRock Cafe in Tampa, Florida. He enjoyed staying in shape by walking with his friends and taking long quiet drives around town in his pickup truck.

A.C. Harp was a kind and loving individual who touched the lives of many. His dedication to his family, his country, and his community will always be remembered. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and service.

A.C. is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Maxine Harp, his son Andree Harp (Marjorie), his granddaughter Kristiene Oldmanmoore (Joseph), his grandson Lazar Harp, and his great-grandson Victor Oldmanmoore. He is also survived by a host of other loving family members.
