Mrs. Creola Fagan, 34, of 1116 N. Wesley St., died at 10:30 p.m., July 1, 1949, at St. John's hospital where she was admitted June 28 as a surgical patient.
She was born Sept. 16, 1914 at Nancy, Ky.
Most of her lifetime was spent in Springfield.
On Aug. 6, 1932, she married Moses Fagan.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Parton; one son, Moses; two daughters, Wanda and Juanita; one brother, Napolean Parton; and one sister, Mrs. Stella Harvil, all of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Remains were at Vancil funeral home (north side).
Memorial services were held at the funeral home.
Burial was in Roselawn cemetery.
