BEST-RATCLIFFE (McGrath), Audrey - It is with great sadness that the Best-Ratcliffe family announce the passing of Audrey Anita, age 70 years, Sunday, July 8, 2001, peacefully in Ottawa, surrounded by her loving family. She will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend, Jack Ratcliffe; son, Derek (Anna), Osgoode; Karla (Jim Brown), Halifax; Julie (Antonio Spadaccini) and stepchildren, Philip Ratcliffe (Joanne Rheaume), Michelle (Marcus Nassner), Sydney, Australia. Her grandchildren Andrew, Ryan, Christopher, Tyler, Tony and Alana will treasure their Nan's memory forever. Loving daughter of the late Seamon McGrath and Mary Conroy, Wine Harbour. Audrey is survived by sisters, Mildred Nauss, Kathleen Harris, Joyce Morris, Janet McGrath and Annette Eastwood and sister-in-law, Doris McGrath, all of Halifax; brothers, Harry McGrath (Honor), Comox, B.C.; Seamon McGrath, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Rufus Cameron,Halifax. She was predeceased by brothers, Cyril and Karl McGrath. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 11, in Ottawa.
