She was the daughter of George and Cassie (Brown) Adams. She married Eddie Menasco on Sept. 25, 1947, in Reno, Nevada. She was a longtime resident of Dow and was a member of Dow Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Ruth Ann and J.T. Dickerson, Clarksville, Ark., Carol Sue Gragg, of Haileyville, and Kathy Menasco, Burtonsville, Md. Also, six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beulah Thompson, Alma, Ark., and Johnnie Howells, Alma, Ark., and one brother, Don Adams, Russellville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Josh McElhany, Jeremy McElhany, Jeffrey McElhany, Cory Johnson, Conner Johnson, and Jacob Bartel. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Bartel, Megan Bartel, Cassie Johnson, and Samantha Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Menasco; parents, George and Cassie Adams, and three brothers, Darrell, Cletus and Aaron Adams. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brumley-Mills Chapel in Hartshorne with the Rev. Kenneth Morrow officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery in McAlester. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
