GLORIA A. WEAVER (Age 75)
Passed away September 11, 2010 in Dunedin, FL. She was born March 14, 1935 at Bird haven, VA and was a daughter of the late Phillie and Ruth Delawder. She graduated from Mount Jackson High School in 1953. She married William E. Weaver in 1958 and moved to the Washington, DC area shortly thereafter. She worked many years in food service for Marriott International, Inc. Gloria and Bill retired in 1987 and moved to Dunedin. FL. Survivors include her daughter, Dana Wilkins and her husband, Bruce of Annandale, VA; two grandsons, Chaz and Hunter of Annandale, VA and a brother, Johnny Delawder and wife, Phyllis of Basye, A. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Hope and by her husband, Bill, a native of New Market, VA who passed away February 4, 2010. A joint memorial service will be held for Bill and Gloria Weaver at the Theis Funeral Home, 9377 N. Congress St, New Market, VA on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 3 p.m. The Rev. Bruce Johnson of New Market will officiate. All friends and family are welcome to attend. Local arrangements are entrusted to the Theis Funeral Home in New Market, VA. (540-740-3312).
