We are pained to record the death of the REV. JACOB COGGIN, of Tewksbury, on Tuesday last, aged 73.
Mr. Coggin has been settled over the Congregational Church and Society in Tewksbury about fifty years. He was much beloved by his people and has been instrumental of accomplishing much good among them.
At the time of his death he was one of the Overseers, and Chaplain, of the State Almshouse. His death will be deeply lamented by a large circle of friends.
