Mary Landrum was still living at the time of her husband's will in 1814. She is strongly believed to have been Mary Taliaferro, daughter of Richard Taliaferro and Rose Berryman. She would have thus been a sister to their near neighbor, Elizabeth Taliaferro Wortham, and an aunt to the noted Benjamin Taliaferro, Sr.
(Some unsubstantiated sources give her name as Mary "Hawkins." There is also an unsubstantianted reference to a Zach Hawkins marrying Mary Taliaferro, so this may have some truth to it.)
