Rabih Khalil El-Aawar, 69, passed away on Christmas day, Sunday, December 25, 2022, in Raleigh North Carolina. Born in Lebanon on August 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Khalil El-Aawar and Adele Saab El-Aawar.
Rabih cherished and loved spending time with his family and dear friends. In 1994, Rabih and his family migrated to North Carolina leaving those dear friends and family behind to give opportunity to his young children.
Rabih retired from being a lifelong entrepreneur, owning businesses in various industries including: jewelry, film and videography, tanning salons and restaurants. Rabih was most known for owning Rudy's Grill, serving customers with his Lebanese hospitality for 24 years. His outgoing personality afforded him many friends over the years, Rabih never met a stranger.
Rabih was preceded in death by his brother Khalid El-Aawar and sister Jamal Mouaffak.
Rabih is survived by his wife, Hala El-Aawar; children, Chadi, Adele, and Danny El-Aawar; Grandchildren, Nadia, and Amir Artis; brother Farouk El-Aawar; sisters, Amal Saad, Jinan Rayes and Lina El-Aawar.
Funeral Services will be held at Capital Funeral Home from 12:00 PM-2:30 PM Friday, December 30, 2022. He will be laid to rest at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens
