JOHNSON, Barbara Branch, Barbara Branch Johnson Allen died on 11/15/2023 at Cedarfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Dorothy Branch, and husbands George William Johnson, MD and Benjamin R. Allen, MD, daughter Ashley Johnson Ownby, and her sister Dorothy Sue Branch Hall. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Johnson Dinwiddie and her partner Van C. Anderson, two grandsons, three granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Shirley Branch Crockett and her husband Ned and Judy Branch Reynolds and her husband Glenn and her "adopted" daughter Rasa Venckiene. She was an honorary member of the Country Club of Virginia. She volunteered with the Richmond Symphony and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. She also became involved with duplicate bridge and became a life master.

There will be a private burial at Westhampton Cemetary for family in the upcoming days. Contributions can be made to the Richmond SPCA.
