Georgia passed away at the age of 81, on Saturday, September 3, 2011, in the care of Arbor Hospice.
On September 4, 1929 Georgia was born to Charles and Elsie (Harding) Anderson in Ann Arbor Michigan.
She attended Ann Arbor High School and later married Bailey Bridges. Later they divorced yet remained friends till the end. Georgia was a hard worker. Among her jobs were domestic, retail sales @ Arlans/Winkelmans, and production worker at Ford Motor Company where she retired. Her hobbies were: cooking, sewing, crocheting, ice/roller skating and viewing the country side. She loved her family and loved her friends as family. She was the rock of her family making sure that they got together on every occasion with food, fun and laughter. She was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost at Messias Temple Church in Ypsilanti, Mi. and later became a member of Jesus International Ministries in Belleville, MI. under the auspice of her son in-law Pastor Larry Clifton.
Those who preceded her in death are her parents: Charles Edward & Elsie Mae (Harding) Anderson, (daughter) Charlotte Jones, (5 brothers) Charles, John, Richard, Joseph, Bernard (3 Sisters) Caroline, Eleanor, Elsie.
Georgia is survived by (her ex) Bailey Bridges, (son) Michael (Sharon) Bridges of Det, MI. (daughter) Connie (Larry) Clifton and special son Derrick of Ann Arbor. (brother) Jimmy (Marva), (sister) Esther. 10 grandchildren Lisa , Felecia (Victor), Michael jr., Kenya (Joshua), Torey, Tony, Genesis (Ryan), Larry II, Chloe, Erika (Anthony) and one special granddaughter Sara Allen.
16 great grandchildren – Alisha, Jermaine, Avantis, DeAndre, Rudy IIII, Amarie, Aaliyah, Brionna, Michael III, Darius, Tony Jr., Isabella, Torey Jr. Iliana, Trevonte, and Reuben along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and 4 life long friends Ethel, Ruth , Leona and Lillie Green. 2 deceased: Doris Franklin, Barbra Grinage.
