Sister of area residents dies in Rushville

Mrs. Mildred F. Coy, 77, died suddenly at her home in Rushville Sunday afternoon. She was a native of Bartholomew County and was born April 11, 1897.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Moster and Sons Mortuary in Rushville. Friends may call there after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Eastern Star services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.

Mrs. Coy is the widow of Aubrey Coy. Survivors include three sons and one daughter; one brother, Paul L. Miller of Edinburg; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Roth of Edinburg, Mrs. Mary Renner of Columbus; Mrs. Myrle Neville of Greensburg; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Mildred F. Coy, 77, of Rushville, former Bartholomew county resident, died unexpectedly Sunday at her home.

She was the mother of Wayne Coy of Route 3, Columbus North high school and Northside junior high school agriculture teacher, and the sister of Paul Miller and Mrs. Frank Roth, both of Edinburg, and Mrs. Hubert Renner of Route 4.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moster and Sons funeral home at Rushville, where persons may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Eastern Star services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery at Edinburg.

Mrs. Coy was born April 11, 1897, in Bartholomew county, to William and Lillie Bradford Miller. On Feb. 7, 1917, she became the wife of Aubrey Coy, who died Oct. 13, 1965. She was active in Rebekah Lodge and Order of Eastern Star.

Also surviving are two other sons, Delores of Akron, Ohio, and Donald of Lakewood, Colo.; a daughter, Louise Angle of Rushville; another sister, Mrs. Frank Neville of Greensburg route 5; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
