She was born on Feb. 9, 1942, at her family home in Germantown Hills to Cornelius and Gertrude (Schmitt) Marchand. She married Robert Almasi on Sept. 28, 1963, in Metamora. He survives, along with one son, Michael (Nancy) Almasi of Cedar Rapids, IA; one daughter, Michele (Craig) Matthis of Bartonville; five grandchildren, Connor (Casey) Almasi, Brooke (Michael) Noack, Caleb Almasi, Zachary Kokinda and Trey Johnston; and one great-grandson, Samuel Noack. Also surviving are four sisters, Donna (John) Kelsey, Rita (Harold) Redenius, Diana (James) Dudley and Linda Overholt; and two brothers, Gerald (Bette) Marchand and Edward Marchand.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Michaela Kokinda; and one brother, Donald Marchand.
In her early years, Patricia worked with her family at the Marchand Family Restaurant in Germantown Hills and one of her favorite jobs was at CILCO.
She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church in Peoria and one thing she loved was cooking for her family and friends.
Due to COVID restrictions, the family will be having private services and burial. Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
