Ada I. Stroeder
A funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in St. Matthew Catholic Church in Hillsboro for Ada I. Stroeder, who died Feb. 6 at age 83. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, in Bronleewe-Bass Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stroeder was born Sept. 15, 1917, in Hillsboro, where she lived all her life. Her maiden name was Robinson. She was a homemaker and later an assembly worker for GAF Viewmaster for 12 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the church. In 1938, she married Joseph Stroeder; he died in 1983.
Survivors include her sons, Gary and Robert; daughter, Yvonne Peterson; brother, Lyle Robinson; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
