Beverly R. Axen, 76, of Trevor, died Thursday (Dec. 11, 2003) at her home.
Born in Omaha, Neb., on April 30, 1927, she was the daughter of Floyd and Violet (Hoburs [sic]) Rae.
On Aug. 11, 1953, she married Robert E. Axen in Chicago.
She came to Trevor from Chicago in 1954.
She was a homemaker and an avid gardener.
Survivors include her husband; her mother; two sons, Robert (Rosemary) of Lake in the Hills, Ill., and David (Jean) of Bristol; and four brothers, John (Helen), Richard (Evelyn), Donald, and Kenneth (Katherine) Rae.
Preceding her in death were her father; and a brother, Robert.
Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
