Mike was born on December 31, 1944,in Princeton, IL. On June 25, 1983, he married Linda Blomberg Luxton, in Rochelle.
Mike is survived by his wife of 40 years; three step children; four brothers and their wives; two sisters, one brother-in-law; six step grandchildren and seven step great- grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, William S. and Phyllis A. Pottinger, he was preceded by his sister, Judy Blackmore.
Celebration of life from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M., Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Moose Lodge, 311 N. Main St., Rochelle.
Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home.
