Mr. Thell E. Autry passed away at the age of 89. Thell was born in Ft. Coffee, OK, a resident of Madera, CA for fifty four years, and a resident of Fresno, CA for the past two years. During WWII Thell worked at the Long Beach Ship Yard. He was a retired carpenter having worked in the building industry for 50 years. Thell was a member of the Carpenters Union Local 2189 Madera and 701 Union in Fresno. He was a finance secretary and business agent for Local 2189 and later served as a delegate in the Local 701 for many years, with a life member Goldcard.
Thell is survived by his daughter Ruthell Matteson & her husband Larry of Morgan Hill, CA his brother Thurman Autry of Detroit, MI and one grandson Eric Thell Capps of San Jose, CA.
