November 9, 2023 the Lord called Charlotte Frances Watley home. She passed away at Medical City in McKinney with her daughters by her side. Charlotte was born November 18, 1944 in Plainview, Texas to Frances and Charles Davis. She graduated from Plainview High School. She attended Wayland Baptist University for a short while then decided to attend cosmetology school. She married Lonnie Watley of Plainview, Texas on June 3, 1966. They were married 56 years before Lonnie passed away in 2023. She attained her LVN license and worked as an LVN for many years while their daughters were young. Family was everything to Charlotte as she enjoyed doing a number of things with her family. In her younger years, she enjoyed hunting and fishing, taking family trips, and watching her grandchildren performing their extracurricular activities. Later in life she found joy getting her nails done, going to Choctaw, and watching TV, especially Law and Order, Wheel of Fortune, and Family Fued. In her last year, she had fantastic caregivers whom she befriended and enjoyed spending her days with.

Charlotte is survived by her two daughters, Charla Hall of Van Alstyne, Texas and Linda Brown and husband Brian Brown of Van Alstyne, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, Brother, William (Bill) Haley of Tom Bean, Texas, nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, Frances Aileen (Simmons) and Charles Howard Davis, husband, Lonnie Ray Watley, and two great grandsons, Tyler and Jacob Perkins.
