Corner Attributes Rasner Death to Poisoning

PECKVILLE, Feb. 21. The death of Irving J. Rasner, 1301 Main Street, which occurred in Mid-Valley Hospital last night, was due to poison taken with suicidal intentions, according to an announcement today by Dr. Joseph D. Moylan, Scranton, a deputy coroner. Rasner was found unconscious Saturday night in the Peckville station of the O & W Railroad where he was employed as station agent.

The funeral will be held from his home, 1013 Main Street, Thursday at 10 a. m. Services will be in charge of the Rev. Henry Clay Bgnks, pastor of Presbyterian Church: Interment, East Canaan Cemetery, Wayne County. Besides his wife, Bessie, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Bailey, Allamuchy, N. J.; two stepsons, Otis and Robert Abbey, Daytona Beach, FL; a brother, William, Belfadie, N. J.; three sisters. Mrs. Ennis Dunbar, Mrs. Leo Elliott, Layton, N, J., and Mrs. Ella Baker, Rowlette.
