On November 1 2023, Nancy Lou Ackeret passed away at her home in California City, California. Nancy was 83 years old.

Nancy was born in Millersburg, OH to Bill and Lois Allison in July 1940. In December 1957, she married Harold Ackeret, and together raised two Children, September and Tracy. She briefly lived in Greenland, NH, Millersburg OH, and Florissant, MO, before moving to California City in 1972.

Nancy had a great number of hobbies that she passed down through the family. She taught her granddaughter to sew and paint, but also enjoyed paper crafting, crocheting, and needlework. She had a fondness for West Highland White Terriers. Nancy and Harold enjoyed traveling in a 5th wheel trailer and saw many parts of the United States in their travels.

Nancy is survived by her husband Harold, her two children, September and Tracy, and her granddaughter Nichole.

A church service for Nancy will be held at the California City Community Church at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 15th. She will be laid to rest at Bakersfield National Cemetery after the service.
