Luther Holton, 67, a retired B&O Railroad machinist, of Frankfort, Rte. 1, died at his home Friday. Death was believed due to a heart ailment.

Mr. Holton retired on Nov. 17, 1951, after 46 years of employment with the B&O.

He was born in Pike County Feb. 3, 1885, the son of Isaac and Malinda Wilson Holton, and never married.

Survivors include three brothers, Ira of Springfield, and James and John of Chillicothe; and a sister, Mrs. Latta Hockenberry, with whom he lived.

Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Ware Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
