GALESBURG - Mr. Kenneth W. Albert, age 88, of 75 Division St., Galesburg, Ill., died Saturday, June 24, 2006, at 10:50 p.m. at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
He was born March 13, 1918, in Galesburg, Ill., the son of Kenneth C. and Ollie Linroth Albert. He married Betty Buss on Aug. 14, 1941, in Chicago, Ill.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Laurie (Ronald) Cooper of Topeka, Kan.; one grandson, Ryan (Kimberly) Cooper of Bourbonnais, Ill.; and one granddaughter, Lindsey Cooper of Topeka, Kan.
Private family services will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
