"Roy C. Biddison, 85, Belton, died Tuesday at St Joseph Hospital. He was born in St Joseph and had lived in La Feria, Texas, 10 years before moving to Belton in 1970. Mr. Biddison, an Army veteran of World War I, operated a mobile home court in La Feria before he retired. He was a member of the Belton United Methodist Church, the Mercedes (Texas) Masonic Lodge and the Ararat Shrine. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Viola Biddison of the home; two stepsons, Floyd Towner and Forrest Towner, both of Kansas City; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Margaret Mitchell of Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Harriet Olsen of Riverside and Mrs. Evelyn Marshall of Belton; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Mount Moriah Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, May 24, 1979
