Joseph was a member of Stoney Creek A.M.E. Church. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and gardening. He loved watching Western Series on TV. His favorite foods were pinto beans, greens and fried chicken. He loved visiting the beach. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and he loved his wife dearly.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Ada Mae Sellars Briggs of the home; son, Bradley Scott Briggs of the home; daughter, Tammy Raina Briggs (Harry) of Graham, NC; grandchildren, Temple Pinchback (Lewis) of Burlington, NC, Randi Walker of Greensboro, NC, Kameron Briggs of Clayton, NC, Nevaeh Briggs of Sunset Beach, NC, Noah Briggs of Burlington, NC, and Layla Briggs of Burlington, NC; great grandchild, Chandler Pinchback of Burlington, NC; and a host of relatives and friends.
