Mrs. Hattie Marceline Beavers age 76 of Carson Lane Murphy passed away peacefully on Sunday November 5, 2023 in the Valley View Care Center in Andrews following an extended illness. Mrs. Beavers was born on April 15, 1947 in Brasstown, NC., the daughter of the late Harley Wesley Owens and the late Nina Henson Owens. Hattie enjoyed sending cards and flowers, reading her bible and going to church. She loved butterflies and making bead jewelry. She was a loving and caring sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Beavers, her parents, and also three brothers, Claude, Edwin and Buster Owens. Hattie was a member of Old Fashion Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 8, 2023 at 1:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bellview Community Cemetery where she will rest next to her beloved husband Wayne.
