NOTE - The year of death on Christian's headstone is incorrect. The headstone must have been put up sometime after the death of his wife Christina and must have come from an incorrect veterans record of death. That record that showed a death of 1885 but it showed the correct month and day of death but the year was stated as 1885. Attached is a sexton's record of his death of 1895 although for some reason they omitted his last name. An obit was not found. The familysearch.org record is
