Margaret Ann Catherine "Peggy" Paulick Aakhus Gleave

Margaret Ann Catherine "Peggy" Paulick Aakhus Gleave passed away October 30, 2023, in Provo, Utah, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Peggy was born November 18, 1943, to Walter Gerhardt and Lillian Catherine Kunz Paulick in Chicago, Illinois. Her family moved to Wisconsin in the early 1950s, then to Illinois, Minnesota, Arizona, and then landed in Utah. She worked as an executive secretary and financial accountant.

She converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints after she married Lynn Gleave in July of 2009. She enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, gardening, ATV rides, and traveling with Lynn. She also canned and made preserves which she enjoyed giving away.

Lynn passed away July 31, 2023. Peggy said she has felt more at home here in Provo because of all the support and the neighbors around her.

Peggy is survived by her sister, JoAnn Buck; adopted daughter, Vicki Warneka; six grandchildren: Hannah (Kolter) Nielsen, Shelby Salmi, Jordan Salmi, Grace Sandy, Ryan Warneka, Kyle Warneka; and two great-grandchildren: Arya Nielsen and Briar Nielsen. Also by Lynn's children: Robert Gleave, Staci Wright, Tami Doyle, Victoria Riso Taylor and LynnAnn Gleave, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lynn; adopted daughter, Jennifer Warneka; and brother, William Paulick.
