Vincent "Chente" Abeita, 29, died June 18, 2007, in Colton, California. He was born September 25, 1977, in Barstow, California. Vincent graduated from Barstow Central High School in 1995. He graduated from Barstow Community College in 2006 with an AS in welding, cum laude, and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Sigma, Phi Theta Kappa, and the Honor Society.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte "Sally" Abeita; brother, Alvin "Smokin' Joe" Abeita; and daughter, Annmarie Elizabeth Abeita. Vincent is survived by his father, Lewis R. Abeita Sr.; brother, Lewis R. Abeita Jr.; sister, Virginia Abeita Villanueva; his babies; nephews Jose "Joe" Villanueva, Stephen A. Villanueva, and Agustin L. Villanueva; nieces, Charlotte R. Villanueva and Rosa M. Zavala; and granddaughter, Jenna Marie Villanueva, all of Barstow.
There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Mead Mortuary, Barstow.
