Mary Aster Jimmie Adele (Garrison) McIntyre, age 86 of Clayton, Oklahoma passed away from this life on October 31, 2023 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Mary was born on March 15th, 1937 in Black Fork, Oklahoma to Leslie Jo and Jeremy (John) Garrison. Mary married the love of her life, Cloise McIntyre and they built their legacy of faith and family together. Mary loved to read, quilt, and embroider. She worked at home health for many years and had a passion for helping her patients. Her greatest pride was her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her much happiness. Mary will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Mary is survived by her children, Cloise Donald McIntyre Jr. and wife Velma Jean, Andy McIntyre and wife Tina, Camelia Jones and husband Buck, Melinda Jones and husband Frank; grandchildren, Heidi, Donald, Marie, Michelle, Crystal, Sarah, Amanda, Korin, Buck, Aaron, Susan, and Adele; eighteen great grandchildren; one sister, Doris Watson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many extended family.
Mary is preceded in passing by her parents, Leslie Jo and Jeremy Garrison; husband Cloise McIntyre; two sons, Phillip Leslie McIntyre and Jeremy Darrell McIntyre; granddaughters, Brekisha McCartney and Melissa Marie Jones; and fifteen siblings.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at McCarn Funeral Chapel in Clayton, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be on Friday, November 3rd, 2023 at 3:00PM at A L Stephens cemetery in Clayton, Oklahoma with Bro. Jim Collier officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service.
