U.S. Veteran Carl Ferdinand Burgdorf, II passed peacefully October 28th, 2023 after a brief illness. Born February 8th, 1935 in Columbia, SC, he graduated from West Point Military Academy in 1957. He served 20 years in the Army and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. After proudly serving his country, his second career was in the banking business.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Katharine Bonfoey Burgdorf; four daughters and five grandchildren.
