Roger Dale Ring, born June 24, 1945 passed away on October 28, 2023 at the age of 78. He was born in Dixie, Arkansas.

Roger grew up in both Jonesboro and West Memphis and was raised in the Baptist faith. He graduated from Marion High School and was a great singer. He even was the lead singer of a local Memphis band called the "Mark V". After a brief stint in college, he joined the National Guard and then moved to the Army Reserves and spent 22 years serving his country. He was a great father, who put his heart and soul into coaching his children in football, baseball, softball and basketball. He worked for both Superior and Yellow Freight lines as a truck driver. He had a wonderfully large personality and would tell you, "he never saw a mirror he didn't like." He loved playing cards and spending time with his family.
