"James Virgil Grigg, 72, of Route 2, Huntsville, died Jan. 20 in Madison County Hospital. Born Oct. 7, 1898 in Kingston, the son of John D.and Sarah Bowen Grigg, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Avo Cline Grigg of the home; two brothers, Sam and Omer Grigg, both of Santa Maria, Calif.; three sisters,Mrs. Zora Belt of McAlester, Okla., Mrs. Mary Reynolds of Santa Maria and Mrs.Marie Houck of Seminole, Okla.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Upper Camp Ground Church with Rev. Auburn Green officiating. Burial was in Upper Camp Ground cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home."
