Jimmie Ann Simpson Persinger, age 73, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Charleston, South Carolina to the late James and Reba Janette Rigney Simpson. She was a former employee of Shermans Pharmacy and had also worked at Ryan's Steak House for many years.
She enjoyed being a housewife and homemaker. She loved her family and spending time with them ever chance she was able to. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Richard and Robert Simpson.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years: Bobby Dale Persinger, sons: David Persinger, Tim (Kristy) Persinger all of Rossville, GA, grandchildren: Hayle Johnson, Chasitdy Persinger, Cameron Persinger, great-grandchildren: Jameson Goff, Riley Goff, Remington Persinger, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday morning after 9:00 am prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am in the chapel Thursday – October 26, 2023. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Veterans National Cemetery.
