MOORE IS DEAD.
The body of Seaborn Moore, former well known and highly respected citizen and resident of Anita, who passed away at his home in Beatrice, Nebr.,Sunday, January 9th, 1916, after a brief illness from pneumonia, arrived in Anita this (Thu) morning, accompanied by his son, Hiram L. Moore, of Fort Collins, Colorado,and were laid away in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Moore was aged 80 years,4 months and 30 days. Obituary will appear in the RECORD next week.

Word was received here Tuesday of the death of Seaborn Moore of Beatrice, Neb., who passed away at his home last Sunday at the age of 81 years. He was for many years a businessman in Anita, a wagon maker by trade, and for a time lived on what
was known as the V. Calkins farm southwest of Anita. He leaves a wife and two sons, Hiram I. Moore of Fort Collins, Colo., and Ora Moore of Clear Lake, S. D. The remains of his daughter, Mrs. Ollie Chrisman, who died in Beatrice some years ago, was brought here for burial and now his remains will be brought here for interment as soon as his sons could arrive to accompany him. His wife, we understand,is not able to make the trip.
