Cindy Calder passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in Cleburne, Texas. She was born in Dallas, Texas on October 8, 1950, the daughter of Amanda (Edmonds) and Horace Childers.
Cindy obtained her Bachelor's degree from Baylor University. She married Richard Calder on July 12, 1975, in Dallas. Cindy was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cleburne.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Matt Calder.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Richard Calder; son, Dan Calder and wife, Sarah, of Austin, Texas; daughter, Melinda Calder of Dallas; granddaughter, Vivienne Marie Calder, also of Dallas; sister, Carol Crawford and husband, Len, of Blue Ridge, Georgia; and several other family members and friends.
