Robert A. Jack, Shaker Heights, Ohio, husband of Ruth Spancake Jack who is a native of Palmyra, died Sunday in the Hanna House of the University's Hospitals, Shaker Heights, after a lengthy illness. He was 77. A native of Hoboken, N. J., he was a son of the late James and Mary Magill Jack. He was an Army veteran of World War I and from 1916 to 1924 served as sales manager for the Pennsylvania Range Boiler Co. In 1924 he became a representative of the Domestic Engineering Firm of Ohio. He held that post until 1933 when he became founder and vice president of the Kenney Publishing Co. of Chicago. He operated the Cleveland, Ohio office of that firm until his retirement in 1962. In addition to his widow he is survived by two daughters, Dorothy, wife of W. W. Reynolds, Hopewell, Va., and Alexandra, wife of Joseph DeCredico, Solon, Ohio; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were held in Shaker Heights. Burial will be made tomorrow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. The Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra, is in charge of local arrangements. [Lebanon Daily News, June 2, 1976, Page 2]
